Alexandra Dolce
Alexandra Dolce is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) based in Ojai, California. She received her Masters of Arts degree in counseling psychology with a specialization in depth psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, following her Bachelors degree from UCLA in philosophy. Through her own experience of initiation, transformation, love, and loss, she was called to the path of psychotherapy to support others on their healing journey. She specializes in treating teenagers, adults and parents, who are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, life transitions, and who may be exploring their spirituality, sexuality, and sexual identity.
Additionally, she works with couples and families to heal relational problems that are blocking pathways to deeper layers of connection and intimacy. Alexandra creates a warm and empathetic space for self-exploration grounded in an authentic relationship. By taking a solutions-focused approach, she supports each one of her clients to identify what they desire from their time together in order to realize their unique intentions and goals. This may take the form of exploring the past and how it impacts the present, examining relational patterns, developing coping skills, visioning of the future, and cultivating a relationship to the wholeness of their being. She draws from her background in depth psychology, transpersonal psychology, attachment theory, feminist psychology, and somatic therapy.
Alexandra is currently accepting new clients to include teens, adults, couples and families.
