Hello, I'm Hannah, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) providing long-term, psychodynamic psychotherapy for adults, couples, and teens. My style of working is depth psychological, meaning that I approach insight, healing, and change by orienting towards the unconscious mind. I use psychoanalytic, Jungian, somatic, and expressive interventions to do so.
While pursuing my master's degree at Pacifica Graduate Institute, I began my clinical work at a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program with individuals navigating acute mental health crises. These experiences solidified my commitment to providing trauma-informed care, and the importance of prioritizing a foundation of safety and stability before engaging in deeper work. I later trained at a psychoanalytically-informed clinic, where I began seeing individuals in a more open-ended, long-term therapeutic context, where I honed my ability to listen and respond to the unconscious through the exploration of dreams, patterns, associations, and the dynamics which emerge in the therapeutic relationship.
Whether you're dealing with trauma, relationship challenges, existential concerns, or simply seeking greater self-understanding, I'm here to assist you in discovering your own sense of truth and inner resourcefulness. I am currently accepting new clients for 50-minute sessions, one to three times per week. I work especially well with curious individuals committed to their own development.
